...Explores and expands portraiture conventions in print. Through this project, I wanted to continue questioning how we capture a person’s identity by looking beyond the physical body and depicting the subject through memories and interests that are influential in defining their sense of self.

The project is structured into three phases. The first phase consisted of interviews with six close friends with questions that focused on memory and place. The second phase consisted of an analysis of each interview and translating them into six-layered printed scenes of imaginary and real spaces that represent each interviewee. The third phase compiles all six prints to be displayed in a portfolio and shared with each participant.
