Live-Edge Lowrider

...was inspired by George Nakashima’s woodworking ethos—particularly the Conoid Bench—this chair blends mid-century and Bauhaus influences. A single live-edge walnut slab is divided into seat, armrest, and backrest, with hand-polished chrome tubing weaving through and around the wood to create the impression of an exploded assembly.

Departing from conventional joinery, the design highlights the natural form of the walnut, minimizing intervention and allowing the material’s inherent character to guide the structure.
